Here the nose is slightly riper and a bit spicier as well on the purple fruit nose where the nuances are stifled somewhat by the presence of noticeable if not dominant reduction

Jean-Marc Pillot, Chassagne Montrachet Chenevottes Vintage:2013 it has a nose of(from Chenevottes proper). A discreet application of wood influence is present on the ripe and fresh aromas of rosemary oil, just sliced citrus and essence of pear. The rich and generously proportioned medium bodied flavors exhibit very fine punch on the youthfully austere and almost tannic finale that imparts a borderline rustic feel to it. This very solid effort will need at least a few year of keeping to round out.
