The very thick, plastic like foliage gives the appearance of a ploidy mutation (extra chromosomes). For us, it grows a bit slower than typical Thujopsis dolobrata, so we're guessing it should reach about 8' tall in 10 years, sporting the typical pyramidal shape. Joann originally got the plant from Randy Plante at Greener Visions Nursery, who got it from
