The dog's voice, done through special effects of course, was provided by Carlos Alazraqui who was known for his voice work as Rocco in the Nickelodeon cartoon Rocco's Modern Life. The Mexican fast food chain created several famous catchphrases for the dog to say, like "Drop the gordita!" and "Yo quiero Taco Bell," which translates to "I want Taco Bell." Another popular saying was "Viva
